I often get stressed out when it comes to balancing my homework and school with doing the things I enjoy as well as seeing friends. At the beginning of this last quarter, I was really stressed out about keeping up with the classes that I signed up for this year. Now, I feel like I have been able to balance things a bit better, but soon I will be playing soccer and will not have as much free time. This scares me a little because I will have to completely change my schedule. I sometimes deal with a lot of stress and have found some good ways to handle it.
I like listening to music as well as playing the piano.
I also like to take little breaks in between assignments and either have a snack or watch some tv.
Doing a mini creative project also helps me when I have a lot of extra time and I am no longer working efficiently.
And if none of the others work I will clean or rearrange my room
These relax me and help me forget about what I was stressed about for a while.

I completely agree that balancing everything in our lives can be difficult and stressful. I also really find music a great way to help relieve stress. I understand your stress toward a schedule change and I also know that you will do a great job balancing it. Great job!
ReplyDeleteHi! I can relate, as many others, about being stressed and how hard it is to cope with. I often do the same of trying to distract myself when I am very stressed like watching a movie or cleaning my room. I also agree on your point that school tends to get more difficult as the year progresses and we must always try to find the balance in our daily life. Overall, great post!

ReplyDeleteHey Rosalinda, I feel you like noone else can feel, but I noticed we have many things in common when it comes to relaxing. Other things that I find helpful to relieve stress are just talking to someone, usually I speak to my mom, and I don;'t even talk to her about school I, oddly enough, speak to her about politics and for some reason I find that relaxing. Another thing that I find that really helps me to level my stress out is thinking about how I will reward myself for doing the things that I will do, like an incentive to do things, or simply to just look at old stuff. Kind of like taking a trip back. Good job!
